Job mode: Unspecified. The stricter New / full construction rules apply until a mode is saved.

Weather need for Stamped & decorative concrete: Plan the concrete pour and the later sealing step in separate weather windows.

New/full placement needs accepted subgrade, mix delivery and a curing/strength-monitoring plan for the complete slab.

Shop rule: the default freeze check keeps forecast air at least 32°F for 48 hours from the start of placement and keeps rain off for 6 hours after finishing. Fresh concrete must be protected from freezing until it reaches about 500 psi; forecast air does not measure strength.

40°F air is an unheated-placement planning default. An approved cold-weather plan must establish actual concrete and base conditions; the forecast never verifies strength or curing completion.

Estimate evaporation only with actual concrete temperature plus air, humidity and work-height wind. Dry/windy conditions require the placement's evaporation-control plan; crew heat is advisory.

Pour, stamping and later decorative sealer are separate tasks. Select the exact sealer before applying its dry/dew/cure window.

  • Shop ruleShop rule: minimum air temperature of 40°F for stamped & decorative concrete.
  • Forecast timingAssumes the forecast issued 0 minutes ago is still current. Official forecasts are reissued at least twice a day and sooner when weather changes; a forecast older than 13 hours is treated as stale.
